memorial day weekend

Americans have public holidays practically every day - any excuse to get off from work and school and any excuse for every single store in the entire country TO CLOSE. So yesterday was memorial day which obviously stemmed from a much longer memorial day weekend, because nothing can be one day because it ruins all the fun. so the great american tradition is to have a bbq on memorial day to memorialize the fallen american troops over a good steak and a bad beer (american beer). so yesterday i joined the memorial day festivities and drove up to the hotbed of current lubavitch politics, west palm beach, for a memorial day bbq at Temmi's brother, mendy kornfeld. all i can say is, there was no minute of silence at 11 oclock or any time at all, and not once did anyone mention the falled soldiers.

so i rest my case. anzac day at the footy wiht a minute of silence (or is taht australia day??!) never mind - regardless of the day, american public holidays cannnot compare, and nor can their bbq's.

it has bin scorching hot here in isrel like crazyness and 2 add 2 all the fun i got no air conditioning ni my room and my fan turns off in the middle of the night coz the electricity goes off so i wake up like a mill times a night and im like soaked thru 2 the core!! its like u lose waight just sleepin!! ITS AWESOME im gonna like sell this diet for milllions btw for all u fat ppl out there (chana dont take it personnaly) come 2 toras emes only 5000 a year!!!! i asked 2day permision for the summer and it sounds very promising coz my frend just got permision and like i know that they want me bak in yeshiva next yr coz i mean obviously!! hu wouldnt!! but for real the rosh yeshiva asked some1 2 sorta convince me and a few other guys 2 stay!!! like top secret!! im not supposed 2 know i feel like really special so basically bak 2 the point he said he will tell me next week coz he went 2 day 2 mezbush for shvuos so pleez all say tehilim for menashe ben don much apreciated

i got a sorta prob thast i dont know 2 keep 1 day or 2 any advice??? btw every1 at home since im stuck in yeshiva hav me in mind wen ur eatin those cheesecakes!!

Well well well. It's been a while.
Anoyhow, I have so much news to post, and great photos too, bot now isn't the correct time.
I just wanted to report that we are currently in the middle of the blue mountains, in Katoomba, and have just witnessed the renowned 'three sisters' view. (If u don't know what it is, google it!)
The weather is great, accomodation fantastic, and hospitality gevaldik.

Congrats to all participants and also to quiet bystanders like Yael who just likes to read and laugh, Dina and Moshe who have probably never looked at this site, Chanie who's husband is the manager and all those others who probably never even knew this existed - like Sarale and Co. anyway, yesterday I crashed my Shliach's car. Don't ask it was a disasterous day wiht so much happening and flying and the crash was relaly unnessasary my day was packed enough but G-d obviously disagreed and made me reverse into a wall :) so now i'm left peniless if anyone would like to make a donation to the C.R.F (chana relief fund) you can post your checks to 9080 Harding Ave, Surfside, Fl 33154. glad 2 c our fam has a bit of a sense of humor neways lag bomer here was awesome!!! i went in the nite 2 meiron and it was a riot ppl running everywhere like crazy when u walk in theres a 1 storey high video of rebbe an even bigger moshiach flag and a 2 storey tall pic of the rebbe all right as u walk in like u couldnt miss it and then there was booming yechi and dancing. on the side was like an igros booth. then there was further down a whole nachman thing and there were like little stalls everywhere. then in the kever it was worse than 770 it took bout 20 min 2 get into the actual room and then another 20 2 get to the keva itself i came out with my shirt ripeed open and i was soaked 2 the core but it was n experience and then there was this dancing with thousands of ppl very beuatiful. i got bak 2 yerushalayim at 7 in th emornin!! then i slept for a coupla hours and at 12 i was off 2 take care of kids at a parade ther were like 1000 kids with l;ike 15 of us and it was so unorganized and basically i was controling 50 kids and they were wild israelis! they didnt know wat 2 do and neither did i so it was quite xcitin we went round the blok and i wqas the front guy and i had no idea wat 2 do so i started these chants that i made up on the spot and i was so ocvertired so i was jumpin and screamin and these kids were a bit 2 cool for themselves so they were just walkin calmly that is until i started givin out drinks and raffle tickets, i had the kids skreamin!! then we had a carnival with these jumpin castles and we had 100 kids in a 10 by 10 space!! mso i had 2 restrict the kids from cumin in and they were kikin me and jumpin on me little 5 yr old kids gone wild.. then there was one jumpin castle that all the kids were goin wild so we only let 10 on and made a line of 8 of us in front of it . the kids stareted a countdown and then they all charged like 100 of them!! so they got on then a coupla hpours lata i went to the feldman-keel weddin and it was wild dancing for like hours coz it was like tonz of bochurim i came out so sore and tired i finaly got 2 sleep at 1 tota;y knocked out

With deep sorrow and great anguish we inform of the absence of Yosi Wolf by the World Wide Wolfs' executive lunch, held this monday, at the Talbot. Out of the 4 executive members, present were all 4, including the "bloghost" -eli, "bloghost wife" - chani, "reader" - yael, "little white dog" - shaul. Unfortunately, the blog manager i.e. one in charge - Yosi Wolf, was not able to make it, due to lack of communication and organisation amongst the lower executive members. He was not informed of the board meeting, therefore was not present, hence the firing of his 4 board members.

in conclusion

so the end of the camera story which i know you all have been avidly awaiting is that i go home and tell miriam ash the sotry about rupert, which she goes and tells to her friend devoirie. now devoirie works in the same camera store and rupert is moshe something really from crown heights. so i call rupert aka moshe back up the next day and say that im really sorry, but the day before i forsure thought that he was trying some marketing scam on me which i always fall for and i was so proud of myself for not flaling for this one and meanwhile, its not even one! so can i have the discounts again!! thank you thank you, if anyone wants a 128 memory card for $20, im well connected!

would you believeit? neither did i when they told me that they wnated me back home. i was sitting at the beach, relaxing, then my phonje rings. so im like "hello, whos there" and the parents are like "we changed our minds and we want you to come home on the school bus, and not to stay there till 'we pick you up'(yeh right)" so i'm like "i don't want to come home" so tahy is telling me "everyone wants you back, the blog is dieing out, it needs some lifeforce" so i am saying "i don't really care about the blog" so that is saying"listen guys, either attention or detention, okay. you gotta come home, just think about the blog, and all the other losers on the blog, who are waiting for your posting or your comment" so i is telling "them fine i'll come home"
. so i come home. and guess what? no red carpet! no fooooooood! noones even awake!! they're all shllofing!! so i am said to my dog "i shouldn't've come home, it's not worth it."
then finally, when am about to start walking back to portsea, my dog started barking. woof,woooooooof, woooooooooooof, so i told "shut up you stupid idiot" so then my dog said "wooooofwoooof, os i turn around and there infront of my eyes was a big,,scary,vicious wolf, looming over me, tutty was awake!!!!!!!
then i didn't wake up, i went to sleep.

im back

its been a while but unlike the rest of the fam i live in a third world yeshiva and hav zero access 2 internet and my other so.. i cant write as often as every1 would like me 2
its crazy i woke up 1 mornin and i felt like a dif person! i loooked in the moror and didnt recognize my self hu i sthis person i asjed my self then it dawned upon me I AM 17 (that didnt really happen coz we got no mirors in yeshiva) neways not much has hapened in isrel lately i started goin mivtzoim 2 chevron on fridays i leave at 7 in the mornin and get bak 10 min before shabos crazy but really cool i go 2 like 10 army bases and its so awesome. lag beomer im goin 2 meiron and then durin the day i think chevron! action packed. i still hav no idea where im goin yeshiva next year which is kinda sad but.. 2nite im havin a tour of the old city and then a farby at tzemach tzedek whoch will b quite fun
btw i bought a new watch!!!!!!!

congratulations to all members present at this current moment as you have been privy to witness the coining of the new phrase 'bloggers block'. it is the best way to explain my current condition! i just ordered a digital cam (same as menashes)online and the guy calls me, says that bc i am from crown heights and he is from crown heights as well, they have all these promotional offers and theyre going to throw in this and that and do i was the memory card for cheaper, but only because i live in crown heights and what about an extra battery, with the special crown heights deal. so first im thinking that there is obviously a bored bochur working for prestige cameras, he starts asking where my accent is from and does my family live here... then he says that if i need any help with my order i should call on him (RUPERT)! with a name like rupert i know hes not a lubab from crown heights! what fried out guy have you ever heard of that goes by the name rupert! he's obviously just trying to sell me stuff. NO THANK YOU! $200 for a canon sd300 (like menashes). sound good?

Hey dear family,
Things here are mighty hectic the Shul is in chaos - somewhat. Rabbi Lipskar is currently going through an open heart surgery in Toronto and his wife, son and daughter went along with him - without them this place is mad his daughter lit runs the show here as of course does he and is wife. so there is tons to do for everyone. Plus this morning Terry (the executive director) and about 10 guys flew to the ohel to say tehillim during the surgery. so bascailly its nuts here we have tehillim ath te shul for hte next 4 hrs and plus all our regular programs so life is in a nutshell - mad. if everyone could say a little tehillim that the surgery and recovery process will go well his name is sholom dovber ben rochel baila and his kapital is samech - 60.

also, there is a young lubavitch couple living in bal harbour who have a one year old son who was just diagnosed with cerebral palsy this week - its totally crazy. anyywas so if you could also mention him in your tehillim his name is yosef mordechai ben aliza faya.

I know that in 50 years time our grandchildren will no longer be using old-fashioned things like computers, internet, and blog's. But were they to be interested, will they be able to? Like, do you have access in listening to old records or watching your parents wedding on their reelm of tape?
Which leads me to my next point: Have you heard this ridiculous add about purchasing the newspaper from your mothers day of birth, for some erroneous price? What the...? What have we come to? And how about the new movement of selling stars, allowing you to name a start after a loved one?! I mean, you think if i bought it, named it, and then walked outside at night and called its name, it'd give me a winc? This is outrageous!
Listen here. We, an intellegent and coherent audience, are feeling abused by the mockery the media is making of us. It's time we protested. None of this no longer. We are tired of being laughed at.

i can never think of a title. so this will be titleless. anyway shabbos here was really nice - not to hot. we ate at the funniest family on friday nite - they are from las vegas and moved here this year- BT's, multi millionairs with a GORGEOUS HUGE house. anyway the wife is just hilarious. oh - and they had a vase on a stand and she toldus the vase was $25,000 so all the other fams there were shreiking at their kids to get away from thevase. hayiti beshock. Shabos lunch i was at the Weunches it weas really funn. anyway i'm posting a pic of me and sonia in milan there are more to come! achhhh its NOT FAIRRRR the pic isn't workingg!! the stupiddd blogger thing doesn't let!!!
